Toxicant Greenway
This is a raw wilderness just outside the western gate of Pythagoras. Most of the Toxicant Greenway is untouched verdant forest filled with strange and dangerous creatures. Getting caught in the Toxicant Greenway after sundown is considered a death sentence due to the poisonous fog rolls off the rivers each evening. There are a few denizens in the Greenway that have learned to survive its dangers. Most notably, Doug “Big Muff” Lomax built his ostentatious mansion out there. His team of goblin arcanists cast a protective ritual over the place each evening to keep Big Muff, his servants, guests and overflowing trophy room safe. There is a clan of Poison Elves that live out there. No one really knows how they survive the fog. Perhaps they have built up some form of immunity. The oddest resident of the Toxicant Greenway might be Ronnie “Slippery Fingers” McMullen, the former Muffleball superstar turned hermit after a disastrous play the last time The Bearded Gnomes made it to the championship.
